Description
1967 AMC Rambler Rogue Convertible
The AMC Rambler Rogue was produced from 1966 through 1969 and at that time it was replace by the AMC Hornet model. The convertible body styled Rogue was only available in the model year of 1967 and only 921 units were manufactured. This was a muscle car and while not strikingly presented as such it was indeed one of the family of muscle cars being turned out during this time period. This little hot rod was equipped with a 343 cubic inch 4 barrel engine that had a 10.2:1 compression ratio that produced 365 pound-feet of torque.
The 343 cubic inch high compression engine was only made for the year of 1967 and only 58 Rogues were manufactured with this engine. Combine the rarity of the engine in this car in the photograph and that there were only 921 convertible models of the Rogue made, this little ride could be considered somewhat on the rare side.
Equipped with a 4-speed transmission and posi-traction differential this tastefully modest muscle car could keep up with the best of the crop of factory hot rods of that time period.
Automotive photos look great displayed in a den, family room, office, garage, auto service shop waiting rooms, tire stores, parts stores, hot rod shops and upholstery shops.
