Description
1970 Plymouth Road Runner Superbird 440 Six-Pack
This 1970 Road Runner Superbird 2 door hardtop is powered by a 440 cubic inch V8 engine equipped with the Six-Pack, three two-barrel carburetor system producing 390 horsepower and 490 pound feet of torque. This Superbird is painted in the Vitamin C Orange color with a black interior. Black or white were the only options for interior colors on the Superbirds with Alpine White, Blue Fire Metallic, Corporation (Petty) Blue, Lemon Twist Yellow, Limelight Green, Tor Red and Vitamin C Orange being the options for paint finish.
From a marketing standpoint the Superbird was a big sales dud with the buying public, they have however become one of the most sought after collector cars ever made. Quite striking in appearance it is one of those cars that is immediately recognized as to what it is as soon as your eyes gaze upon the huge aerodynamic rear wing.
Automotive photos look great displayed in a den, family room, office, garage, auto service shop waiting rooms, tire stores, parts stores, hot rod shops and upholstery shops. If you are not interested in one of these photos for yourself do not forget about your friends or other family members that have an interest in the automotive field. Photos make marvelous gifts and are suitable for numerous occasions ! ! !
