Rainbow Row sidewalk view, East Bay Street, Charleston, South Carolina. Rainbow Row is the name given to thirteen colorfully painted homes dating from around 1748 to 1845 and represents the longest collection of Georgian row house in the United States. The houses got their name of Rainbow Row after the pastel colors were painted on them during restoration in the thirties and forties and today remains one of the most photographed sections of Charleston.
