The 1951 Packard product line ushered in a brand new look to the line that would continue through 1954. The 1951 Packards now all were manufactured with a single piece windshield and the front grille was of an all new design also. The 1951 Packard 250 series was very similar to the 200 line, the engine however was now a 327 cubic inch, 155 horsepower, 275 lb ft of torque inline eight cylinder. The 250 series convertibles weighed approximately 4,350 pounds curb weight.
