Many consider the 1969 to be the best muscle car of all the first generation Camaro models and many say it was one of the best looking Camaro models ever produced.
Big differences between the L72 427 and the L88 427 was a huge weight difference, higher compression, more camshaft, carburation, different intake, no pcv system and a different advance curve on the L88 but the beating heart of the L88 option was those magical magnificent aluminum heads. The L88 aluminum heads and aluminum intakes were marked with the Winters snowflake casting marks and the engine in this particular 1969 Camaro bear those marks in the proper locations. An L88 version of the 427 is one of the most impressive engines one can place under the hood of a 1969 Camaro, or pretty much any vehicle for that matter. 1969 Camaro – a true American Classic Muscle Car.
