Description
1986 Classic Tiffany Coupe
Made by the defunct Classic Motor Carriages, CMC, of Miami, Florida once claimed to be the worlds largest kit car maker. The 1984 through 1988 Classic Tiffany applied the Zimmer formula for building this style of neo-classical automobile but used the Mercury Cougar instead of a Mustang. Jewelry maker Tiffany & Company stopped CMC from calling it just Tiffany so it was renamed as The Classic Tiffany Coupe. Buyers of these cars could specify a V-6 or V-8, and the interior was stock Cougar in cloth or leather. Surprisingly, the side-mount spare tires were real. Prices started at $33,000, and about 500 were made before the manufacturer succumbed to legal troubles in the 1990s.
Automotive photos look great displayed in a den, family room, office, garage, auto service shop waiting rooms, tire stores, parts stores, hot rod shops and upholstery shops. If you are not interested in one of these photos for yourself do not forget about your friends or other family members that have an interest in the automotive field. Photos make marvelous gifts and are suitable for numerous occasions ! ! !
