1946 Ford Half Ton Pickup Truck
From February 1942 to July 1945 the production of civilian vehicles was discontinued because Ford was mainly manufacturing vehicles and other products for the military during World War II. As production resumed, Ford released the 1946 model pickup. The trucks went into production ahead of the cars because trucks became the work horses to get the nation moving forward again. This beautiful 1946 Ford Pickup sports a very tough looking industrial grille, has been fully restored, has a custom interior, air conditioning, full instrumentation and is powered by a powerful V8 engine providing power to the rear wheels through an automatic transmission. A gorgeous looking truck and an American Classic.
