This very demure, unassuming and innocent looking white 1962 Ford Galaxie 500 has quite a surprise waiting under the hood. This stock interior, bench seat, non 500XL model has a very noticeable Hurst 4 speed shifter coming out of the floor and a huge set of exhaust pipes exiting the rear of the car.
Under the hood is a highly modified race ready Ford 427 cubic inch V8 that will take the unprepared from a stop sign well into the twilight zone in the blink of an eye. This very prim looking Ford indeed qualifies as a sleeper.
