1966 Oldsmobile Toronado Coupe

This 1966 Olds Toronado is in splendid condition, has been very well maintained and has a great sounding exhaust note. 1966 was the first production year for the front wheel drive Oldsmobile Toronado Coupe and the vehicle was produced through 1970. The 1966 Olds Toronado Coupe was equipped with a 425 cubic inch Super Rocket V8 engine with a four barrel Rochester Quadrajet carburetor and delivered power to the front wheels via a Turbo Hydramatic 425 transmission in front wheel drive form. The intake manifold used on the Toronado was somewhat unique in that it was depressed in order to allow for the low hood clearance. Special spherical exhaust manifold gaskets were also used to allow for the movement in the exhaust system and prevented leaks.
