Whisky Creek At The Makers Mark Distillery
This beautiful setting, down in this hollow, is part of the Maker’s Mark Distillery (Burks Distillery) property and is part of the Kentucky Bourbon Trail experience. In the background can be seen the fabulous restaurant that serves a most fantastic lunch. The now restaurant, served as the visitors center at one time, was constructed around 1889 and was originally the distillers home. The firehouse can be seen off to the right of restaurant and the Whisky Creek covered bridge can be seen nestled under the tree branches in front of the restaurant. The stone lined walls of Whisky Creek can be seen running down through the center of the scene.
